The Monk as Man

Where should I even begin :)

I was moved, so much so that I couldn’t even feel my eyes. From beginning to end, I cried. Taking Swami Vivekananda as my mānasika guru and reading about his eternal sufferings made my own feel small. It takes immense penance and deep past life saṁskāras to become that great, to become an unmovable mountain of a human being.

While reading the preface, I learned that this is a translation of the original Bengali text. I would love to read it someday. Prayers and prostrations to the mother who carried a child like this and gave him to the whole world. I bow down to Ādi Parāśakti for Her immense love towards humanity, and I hope we get more like Swami Ji :)
